Qualifications

  • At least 2+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in solar or renewable energy.
  • Good understanding of solar PV systems (training provided if needed).
  • Strong IT skills including managing CRM systems and other business IT platforms.
  • Skilled in system design and interpreting survey data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers.
  • Highly organised with strong multitasking abilities.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven.
  • Comfortable working independently and in a team.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development.
  • Customer-focused and professional.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through site visits and calls.
  • Follow up on leads, negotiate contracts, and close sales.
  • Analyse survey data and design tailored solar PV systems.
  • Meet with the customer to present design and quotation for approval.
  • Work closely with surveyors, designers, and project managers.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and stay updated with industry developments.
  • Present clear information on energy savings and carbon reduction benefits.
  • Keep up to date with solar technology developments and regulations.
  • Represent IMS at events and community sessions as required.
