Job description

Competitive rate | Hybrid working | Accommodation support

Explore the Scottish Islands and give yourself an adventure!

A local authority in the Scottish Islands is acquiring funds to strengthen its Children & Families team with experienced social workers.

You will be focusing on ensuring the safety and well-being of children who are at risk. You'll be responsible for assessing, planning, and providing support for children and families in need. You’ll also be working with other professionals to create the best outcomes for those involved.

One of the big benefits of this role is that we offer a competitive pay rate, based on your experience, but now accommodation support will be provided by the council. Working from home arrangements are hybrid but you’ll find that being on the island you’ll be encouraging yourself to work with the team at the office.

You’ll be supported by long-term senior managers who are committed to your growth and development, and there’s even a £500 referral bonus if you refer a colleague who joins the team.

If you're ready for a new challenge in a beautiful location, get in touch!

As this is a statutory role, you do require a social work qualification & registration to SSSC.
