Social Media Manager & Content Creator - Job Description

Full‑time role with flexibility to adjust hours for out‑of‑hours events and weekend social media coverage.

Hybrid working. 2‑3 days per week on site (Studio based in Kent)

This role is responsible for managing and creating social media content across all Rachel Jackson platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn and TikTok.

Working as part of a small, fast‑paced marketing team, you will lead social content creation and planning while collaborating closely with Rachel on events, launches and celebrity collaborations. The role covers day‑to‑day brand content, campaign support and community engagement, with a strong focus on high‑quality, on‑brand visual storytelling.

Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Create and deliver engaging social content across all platforms, including reels, videos, GIFs, lifestyle product photography and stories
  • Lead creative ideation and concept development for social content on a campaign‑by‑campaign basis
  • Manage shoot preparation, production and post‑production editing for all social shoots
  • Capture events, behind‑the‑scenes moments, founder‑led content and jewellery‑focused content
  • Retouch, crop and format assets to ensure brand consistency and high visual standards
  • Write engaging, on‑brand copy for all social posts
  • Plan, schedule and execute a consistent and effective social content strategy
  • Ensure correct tagging, UTM links and product information are included in all posts
  • Deliver test‑and‑learn initiatives to optimise content formats and platform performance
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates and algorithm changes
  • Own monthly reporting and insight generation, providing clear recommendations for growth
Community & Influencer Management
  • Work alongside Rachel to manage influencer and collaborator selection, including partnerships and giveaways
  • Respond quickly to relevant cultural moments, celebrity activity and trending topics
  • Provide community management support to maintain an active and engaged social following
Campaign Support
  • Work with the email team to develop social‑friendly campaign straplines and messaging
  • Collaborate with the wider team on campaign shoots to ensure social‑first content is captured

  • A social media enthusiast who lives and breathes Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
  • Highly creative, with a keen and elevated eye for visual storytelling and attention to detail.
  • Experienced in content creation across photography, video, and social formats.
  • Thrives working in a fast‑paced environment, balancing multiple priorities with agility and a can‑do mindset
  • Confident in community management, influencer collaborations, and rapid response content.
Experience
  • Minimum 3‑5 years experience in a similar role ideally within the affordable luxury / fashion or jewellery sector
