Qualifications

  • Recognised certificate holder for mobile plant (360 Materials Handler & Loading Shovel).
  • Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Able to work 47.5 hour weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain site cleanliness and organization.
  • Complete training to operate machines accurately.
  • Attend required training courses.
  • Record shift reports.
  • Operate weighbridge software for material tracking.
  • Maintain machinery and report conditions to the supervisor.
  • Follow Health and Safety precautions.
  • Conduct tasks safely and report incidents.

Job description

City: Leeds (UK) Contract Type: Full-time Job-Code: 6358 Department:

Your Tasks
  • Operate as a member of a team in the Timberpak business and to ensure that the site is maintained in a clean, tidy and organised condition.
  • Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to run every aspect of the machines used on the Timberpak site.
  • To attend any further training courses as required.
  • Complete shift reports detailing any specific information as relevant to shift.
  • Able to operate the basic functions of the weighbridge software to enable accurate recording or inbound and outbound material.
  • Ensure any machinery is maintained as required at all times. To liaise with the site supervisor as to the condition of the site equipment.
  • Observe and comply with all safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety procedures and ensure that all safety equipment and PPE is in good order and used at all times.
  • To ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents/ accidents and hazards are duly reported.
  • Observe and comply with the Company Quality Systems as detailed in the Quality Manual.
