A leading energy provider is seeking a Site Construction Manager for a major project in Caithness. The role focuses on overseeing the construction of a new 400kV substation, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and effective contractor management. Strong engineering knowledge and experience with NEC contracts are essential. Base Location: Banniskirk Hub in Caithness. You will be required on site 5 days per week, as well as attending regular meetings at the Hub office in Thurso, as required.
Salary: £42,600 - £64,000 depending on experience + car / cash allowance + performance-related bonus + range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

SSEN Transmission has an opportunity for a Site Construction Manager experienced in the principles of construction and the commissioning of major transmission overhead line works, substations, and/or underground cables. The Site Construction Manager will be crucial in managing the development and construction of new 400kV substation in Banniskirk, Caithness, ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, environmental and quality standards. This is a site-based role, with the expectation to be based on the site 5 days per week or at the site locations as required.
There are training opportunities available for suitable candidates transferring from other industries. The role would be suitable for experienced site supervisors looking for their next career advancement.
The role requires a full current driving licence due to the requirement to travel to and be on site.
