  • Location: Main Base: Redford Barracks, Edinburgh (travel across 13 sites in Scotland)
  • Pay: Up to £14.50 per hour
  • Contract: 35 hours per week Full time (with regular opportunities for overtime)

Are you a talented, hands‑on chef looking for a role that takes you beyond the kitchen walls? At Aramark, we’re looking for passionate Camp Cooks/Chefs to join our team delivering catering excellence at Cadet Camps across Scotland.

Based at Redford Barracks, you’ll travel to a range of sites, leading kitchen teams and creating hearty, high‑quality meals that fuel our cadets and staff. No two weeks are ever the same — perfect for chefs who thrive on variety, teamwork, and challenge.

What You’ll Do
  • Run stand‑alone camp kitchens, ensuring smooth daily operations
  • Manage and support kitchen and agency staff
  • Take ownership of stock control, deliveries, and store management
  • Liaise with the STC management team to plan and deliver great service
  • Load/unload stores and maintain a clean, organised workspace
  • Adapt to different locations, teams, and camp schedules
What We’re Looking For
  • Relevant culinary qualifications and proven kitchen experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A flexible, can‑do attitude and willingness to travel
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Ability to work varied hours – early starts, occasional late finishes, and weekend shifts
