Job Summary

GSK's Manufacturing Site at Ware has an opportunity available for a Shift Co‑Ordinator in our Warehouse facility. The Warehouse Operator team sits within the Logistics division at the site and is responsible for performing all tasks associated with the movement of materials into, within and onwards from the Ware Manufacturing site.

Responsibilities
  • Managing and coordinating all shift activities to meet safety, quality and production targets.
  • Communicate priorities and handovers between shifts and with other departments.
  • Monitor production performance and elevate issues that threaten delivery or quality.
  • Support investigations into deviations and help implement corrective actions.
  • Coach and support team members to follow procedures and work safely.
  • Maintain clear and accurate shift records, reports and handover documentation.
Shift Pattern

This role is a shift role which currently operates on DANF (24/5) shift‑pattern (which includes night‑work). Shifts are 12‑hour shifts and operate on Days (circa 7:00 to 19:00) and Nights (circa 19:00 to 7:00) working on a circa 3 (day or night) shift rotation (Monday to Friday). Up to 50% of hours worked are outside normal hours, requiring a high degree of self‑reliance and ability to assess the impact of non‑standard safety and/or quality events.

About You

You will have strong people skills, a proven ability to drive performance, resilience and calm under pressure, persuasive communication, a continuous improvement mindset, and experience dealing with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups. Ideally you have worked in a highly regulated industry.
