  • Perform work as requested on the repair order.
  • Perform oil and filter changes.
  • Inspect vehicles for oil leaks.
  • Document all work performed on the work order.

Education

Service Technician / Lube Technician – Bobby's Auto Service Center, Inc.

Join us as an experienced Service Technician/Lube Technician.

Qualifications
  • Productivity and ability to stay on task
  • 3 years previous automotive maintenance and repair experience
  • Formal automotive training preferred
  • Virginia state Inspector preferred
  • The ability to communicate with mechanics, customers, and management
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Reliable transportation
  • May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs
  • Hold a valid driver license
  • Must have own set of tools
Schedule & Benefits

Monday through Friday, 8 am‑5 pm. Major holidays paid, PTO, and Aflac Insurance Offered.

Responsibilities
  • Perform work as requested on the repair order
  • Perform oil and filter changes
  • Performing alignments
  • Replace windshield wiper blades
  • Perform minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs as needed
  • Checking all fluids and topping off as needed
  • Mounting and balancing tires
  • Inspect front suspension components
  • Repairing tires using tire plugs as needed
  • Familiarity with tire pressure monitoring systems and able to replace and relearn TPMS sensors as needed
  • Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
  • Checking tire pressure and adjusting to the correct pressure for the vehicle
  • Perform tire rotations
  • Check battery health and replace battery if needed
  • Inspect vehicles for oil leaks
  • Document all work performed on the work order
  • Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Replace wiper blades and air filters
  • Maintain a clean and safe shop environment
  • Other tasks as assigned
