A video game development studio in Oxford is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to join their dynamic team. You will design intuitive user interfaces for multiple platforms and collaborate closely with designers and artists. For 30 years we’ve been independently developing and publishing incredible video games at our multiple studios founded by Jason & Chris Kingsley, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.
We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic UI/UX team, where you will have the chance to influence a variety of exciting, yet-to-be-announced projects. This is your opportunity to become part of a studio renowned for the Sniper Elite series and fresh from the success of Atomfall, our biggest game launch to date.
Your job will be to solve complex UX problems for a new project. You will work with game designers and UI artists to create intuitive UI designs, helping to implement these in game using a visual scripting tool set.
You will be skilled with wireframing-years and prototyping tools and be comfortable using a UX methodology to both define and solve player problems. You will be comfortable working to an existing style guide and be able to translate your ideas into high‑fidelity art targets using the Adobe suite.
As part of the UI team, you will play a key role in implementing efficient, complex, and beautiful UI, working with multiple disciplines with different experiences from different walks of life. We believe that UI is never solved by a single person or a single point of view and that is why we want PCS best collaborators so that we can work together to make memorable experiences for us and for our players!
This role is based at our nae riverside headquarters in Oxford, offering a creative and relaxed atmosphere where teamwork drives our success. We can provide a relocation package, including moving assistance, temporary accommodation, and full support to ensure a smooth transition to your new environment.
We believe in the power of face‑to‑face collaboration and encourage working from our Oxford headquarters. However, we understand that flexibility matters, so we’re open to discussing hybrid options based on individual needs.
This role is only open to applicants who have the permanent right to work in the UK. We are unable to provide or take over visa sponsorship, either now or in the future. Oxford also boasts excellent transport links, making it easy to navigate both the city and the wider country. The city’s train station, just a short walk from our studio, offers frequent services to London, as well as direct routes to major cities like Birmingham, Manchester, and Reading and we also offer free parking at the studio.
