A water sustainability firm in Scotland is seeking a Senior Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) Specialist. This role involves conducting comprehensive plant audits, optimizing processes, and mentoring local technicians. The Specialist will provide ongoing support and conduct regular site visits to ensure optimal performance of seawater reverse osmosis systems. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of relevant experience, strong technical expertise in reverse osmosis systems, and excellent problem-solving skills. Training will be provided to enhance local capacity, ensuring a sustainable approach to water management.
The Senior Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) Specialist is the plant’s lead technical authority responsible for auditing, optimizing, stabilizing, and troubleshooting seawater reverse osmosis systems. The role begins with a 3-month on-island assignment during which the Specialist completes a comprehensive plant audit, leads daily operational optimization, and trains local supervisors and technicians. After this initial engagement, the Specialist continues to provide structured monthly and quarterly site visits along with remote technical support to maintain optimal performance and build long-term Bermudian capacity.
