Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in managing daily operations and staff supervision.

Job Overview

Typical Shifts are: 07:45 – 20:45 working 3 shifts a week including alternate weekends

Senior Support Worker

Senior Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We’re currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our residential service in Taunton. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

Responsibilities

• Help people to gain more independence in their daily lives
• Assist the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service
• Allocate shifts, book training, induct new colleagues, support supervision, order medication and ensure the people we support manage their finances
• Never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker (preferred but not essential)
• NVQ level 3 or working towards it
• Experience dealing with rotas and on call
• Preferably experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex individuals with mental health needs, and traumatic backgrounds
