Qualifications

  • Experience in structural design across multiple materials: steel, concrete, timber, masonry.
  • Chartered status (MIStructE/MICE) or actively working towards it.
  • Strong knowledge of current UK design codes and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver structural design work from concept through to construction.
  • Produce calculations, technical reports and detailed design drawings.
  • Work closely with architects, contractors, and clients to develop coordinated solutions.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant UK standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support and mentoring to junior engineers.
