A major infrastructure solutions company is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management on infrastructure projects based in Motherwell. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing costs effectively and mentoring a commercial team. Based at our Maxim Park office in Motherwell, this role forms part of the Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick team, where you will contribute to both infrastructure projects and the development of impressive career paths.
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record of managing all costs and income within their area of responsibility. The ideal candidate will minimise project costs, enhance value for money, and meet the required standards of quality while maintaining their Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Preferably, you will be a Chartered Member of the RICS, CICES, or CIOB, or working toward such status. Experience leading a small commercial team and mentoring staff on their professional qualification journey is desirable.
