Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are hiring for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer whose main purpose is the mechanical design and detailing of high‑precision new parts, sub‑assemblies and customer solutions for our Imaging & Analysis products.

Qualifications
  • BSc/BEng qualification in Mechanical engineering (or similar discipline) or equivalent qualification iMechE IEng Accredited
  • Mechanical Engineer with at least 5 years’ experience in product development
  • Demonstrable experience in:
    • Design of precise, tight tolerance mechanisms
    • Tolerance analysis
    • Design for long‑term stability e.g. vibration, thermal effects
    • Design for Regulatory Approval (EMC, MD, Safety, LVD)
    • DfX Implementation
    • Prototype build & assessment
    • Experience documenting designs with detailed assembly instructions, including revision control of drawings and documents.
    • Experience developing budgets and cost estimates
