The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to use your skills on a variety of exciting projects within a diverse and growing team. You will be working alongside the Creative Lead on a significant commercial / private sector development across multiple buildings, working closely together to respond to our clients’ needs and manage their expectations. With strong technical skills and the ability to communicate ideas through detailed drawing packages, you will be able to take responsibility for client meetings in their absence.

You will be a motivated and enthusiastic team player, should have an open mind and be enthused by the opportunity to deliver ‘alternative’ design solutions. You will possess excellent product knowledge within Interior Design; seeing the challenge of non‑standard design as a positive part of the project brief and embrace it fully!

You will have
  • A desire to create and deliver great buildings and client experience
  • Proven track record of complex projects within interior design
  • Exceptional technical design skills
Essential skills
  • Strong client care skills with an ability to adapt to changing demands
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi‑disciplinary team – building rapport and creating positive relationships
  • Confident leadership in production of technical information and structuring of Revit models, technical design information and appropriate challenge of alternative strategy and approach
  • Proven experience delivering complex projects through RIBA stage, with the ability to advise others on appropriate design solutions for large scale developments
  • Ability to produce bespoke joinery packages and unique design solutions to a high level of detail
  • Working knowledge of British Standards and BSA legislation
  • Excellent product knowledge within Interior Design and the ability to produce detailed specification documents and schedules
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation of tasks. Ability to work autonomously and delegate / oversee the workload of others and supporting more junior team members
  • An understanding of delivery requirements for project commissioned under traditional contract
  • Ability to conduct formalised project design reviews alongside other senior team members
  • Ability to provide professional guidance to other consultants during design development / technical design stages and site teams during construction
  • Commercial/private sector experience
  • Production of rendered visuals – Enscape
  • Sketch up an advantage
  • Knowledge and application of AI tools
