We’re looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our Team!

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Developer to join our Production Team.

Working within our Production Team, the successful candidate will work both independently and collaboratively to support the development, enhancement, and progression of our core software solutions Induct & Train and Read & Sign.

This is a hands‑on senior role for an experienced full‑stack developer who can contribute high‑quality code, support the wider team, and help drive technical excellence across our products.

What you’ll be doing
Software Development
  • Support the ongoing development and enhancement of Induct & Train and Read & Sign
  • Work closely with the wider team to identify improvements, resolve issues and contribute to planning future developments
  • Participate in sprint planning and work within Agile methodologies using Jira
  • Ensure software quality through clean, secure, maintainable coding practices
  • Improve performance, scalability and reliability across our systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues when required
  • Contribute to technical scoping and support architectural discussions
Technical Leadership (Non‑Line Management)
  • Mentor junior and mid‑level developers by offering technical guidance and support to share knowledge and experience
  • Participate in code reviews and promote best practices and coding standards within the team
  • Provide technical insight to help shape solutions, documentation and specifications
  • Support collaborative working with QA, UI/UX and Product teams to ensure high‑quality delivery
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to refine requirements and shape solutions
  • Assist the Commercial Team with technical queries where needed
  • Support customers occasionally through technical investigation and product understanding
  • Share knowledge across the team and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
Experience, Qualifications and Skills
  • Hold a minimum 2:1 degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Have significant commercial experience as a full‑stack developer (5+ years)
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, performance, security and testing
  • Ability to estimate workload accurately and deliver to agreed timescales
  • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work
  • Self‑motivated, proactive and committed to continuous learning
  • Demonstrate alignment with company values and a positive, team‑first approach
  • Experience with AWS or cloud‑based deployments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows and automated testing
  • Understanding of usability, accessibility and modern UX principles
  • Experience working in a SaaS or software business environment
  • Ability to stay ahead of industry trends, frameworks and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills when working with complex systems

Location

We are seeking someone within commuting distance of either office (for example North Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire or East Yorkshire).

You will be comfortable working remotely but also joining the team in person on a weekly basis for collaboration days, training and meetings.
