Qualifications

• Full and specialist GMC registration and licence to practice.
• Holder of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or within 6 months of attaining CCT.
• Completion of at least two of ALS/ ATLS, A/EPLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medicine services and collaborate with consultant colleagues.
• Plan and develop services, working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead resuscitations of critically ill or seriously traumatised patients.

Skills

Good clinical skills for acute admissions

Experience with head injury management

Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure

IT proficiency

Education

MB ChB or equivalent

FRCEM or equivalent

PMETB approval
