Job summary

A local council organization is seeking an early years practitioner to oversee curricular programs and support early years practitioners at Abbey View Early Learning and Childcare Centre. The role requires strong collaboration and planning skills, along with membership of the Scottish Social Services Council or a commitment to gain registration. The position is fixed and offers 36.25 hours of work per week, term-time only, with opportunities for additional time off.

Qualifications

  • Membership of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or commitment to gain registration.
  • Ability to work closely with head teacher/manager and early years practitioner(s).
  • Experience in planning and implementing curricular programs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and contribute to planning and implementing the curricular programme.
  • Support early years practitioner(s) in assessing and recording individual progress.
  • Liaise with managers to ensure educational experiences and care needs.
