Qualifications

  • Ability to lead drainage designs from concept to detailed design.
  • Experience in drainage assessment, including flood risk.

  • BEng, BSc, MEng or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
  • Ability to lead drainage designs from concept to detailed design, as stand-alone projects or as part of larger multi-disciplinary schemes.
  • Knowledge and application of current UK-wide Drainage policy, standards and guidance.
  • Experience in drainage assessment, including capacity and condition assessment.
  • Experience in the assessment of flood risk.
  • Ability to identify, manage and develop project scopes and manage budgets, programme and the quality of deliverables.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Experience using AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage and GIS.
  • Understanding and appreciation of CDM regulations.
  • IEng, CEng or CWEM, or working towards professional qualification.
