Duties
  • Lead the design and development of structural engineering projects, including bridges, highways, and other infrastructure assets.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Prepare detailed structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide recommendations for repair or improvement.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Review and approve design documentation for feasibility and safety.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
Person Specification
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (MEng or BEng).
  • Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or equivalent.
  • Experience with concrete and/or steel design is highly beneficial.
  • Proven experience in structural design and project management within infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD Pro, Tekla Structures, Revit) and AutoCAD.
  • Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards, and relevant building codes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours - Monday to Friday
