About the Role
Introduction –

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Operations Division as a Senior Demand Planner, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping demand and supply planning for the South Region and supporting national-level forecasting for the School Education division. You’ll be part of a team that values collaboration, accuracy, and strategic thinking, contributing directly to organizational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role offers exposure to multi-region planning, advanced forecasting models, and ERP systems like SAP, making it a great step for professionals seeking impactful work and career growth. You will work onregional S&OP processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and influence inventory strategies for existing and new products. The role involves data-driven decision-making, leveraging business intelligence, and contributing to projects that enhance operational excellence.

Opportunity –

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain demand forecasts for the South region and oversee national-level forecasts.
  • Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and develop statistical forecast models.
  • Conduct regional S&OP meetings, collaborate with Sales, Production, and Customer teams for accurate planning.
  • Provide input to supply planning for inventory norms and stock availability.
  • Analyze data for forecast accuracy, back-orders, and business requirements.

Impact on Team and Organization:

  • Ensure accurate forecasting to optimize inventory levels and reduce back-orders.
  • Act as the information hub for senior management, enabling strategic decisions.
  • Drive collaboration across Sales, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to improve service levels.
About You
