Job summary

A prominent healthcare organization is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist for the East Brighton Neighbourhood Mental Health Team. Qualifications

  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
  • Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist medical/psychiatric assessment and evidence-based treatment to patients.
  • Provide clinical supervision to the HST and non-medical members of the team.
  • Fulfil duties of Responsible Clinician for patients subject to Community Treatment Orders.

Skills

Excellent knowledge in specialty
Excellent clinical skills using bio-psycho-social perspective
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Education

MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research or management
Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise
