A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager for the South West and Wales region. This role involves cost and commercial management for infrastructure projects, mentoring team members, and presenting findings to clients. The ideal candidate has experience in the rail or highways sector and strong skills in project cost management, stakeholder engagement, and Excel.

Role description: As a Senior Cost Consultant within our PM/CM team you will provide cost and commercial management services for a range of technically complex infrastructure projects. You will own cost verification exercises and report results in a timely manner. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams, clients, external contractors, consultants and other stakeholders, as well as managing programme, obtaining information, and factually formulating audit findings and recommendations.
Experience in the rail or highways sector is desirable along with a working knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts and a proven track-record of commercial input into the delivery of infrastructure projects.
Degree qualified in either a Quantity Surveying or similar background. Professional Membership such as MRICS would be advantageous however, not essential, as professional advancement will be supported.
