What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will own a large portion of White Rabbit revenue and work with our most strategic customers. You will report to the Head of Sales, collaborate with multiple team members and customers to deliver growth through share-winning plans. As a leader, you will be responsible for developing the Commercial Executive that you’ll line manage.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the numbers: full P/L management (including promotional and trade spend) for key grocery accounts, with budgets and KPIs to be met, plus management of fixed and variable spend in line with budgets.
  • A customer champion: develop strong relationships with key decision makers, understand their needs, and develop strategic plans to unlock sales growth.
  • Commercial savviness: understand the numbers and how to grow a business profitably; view JBP negotiations as an opportunity to excel.
  • A go-getter: secure new business through engaging sells that highlight White Rabbit’s strengths in the gluten-free market and the value we bring to customers and consumers.
  • A strategic thinker: develop strategic plans aligned with the broader White Rabbit business plan.
  • A collaborator: work with cross-functional teams including supply chain, category, brand and innovation.
  • A master manager: line manage the Commercial Executive and coach on all sales aspects.

Job Requirements

We’re seeking a candidate with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, ideally within a fast-paced challenger brand or FMCG environment. A proven track record of delivering outstanding results and exceeding targets is required.

  • Ability to negotiate commercially on JBPs, promotional plans, NPD listings with experience with top 4 grocery retailers.
  • Clear understanding of developing strategic customer plans and building strong internal and external relationships to execute.
  • Strong presentation skills with data in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Effective time management and prioritisation to balance growing existing customers and winning new business.
  • Strong communication with all levels of stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Demonstrated passion for continuous improvement and a growth mindset.
  • Team player with collaborative mindset and ability to line manage effectively.
  • Examples of leadership in business or personal life.
