A community-based healthcare provider is looking for a clinical pharmacist to enhance mental health services in Exeter. The role involves working closely with community mental health teams, overseeing medication use, and establishing a clinical presence. Candidates should have a GPhC registration and relevant clinical qualifications. We are excited to celebrate the expansion of our community-based clinical pharmacy services with these new roles. Working with a clinical pharmacy technician you will support Adult Community Mental Health Teams to develop their medicines pathways and be a patient-facing clinician in your own right. You will join a successful and dynamic wider Medicines Optimisation team within Devon Partnership NHS Trust
There are 2 posts available. One is working with the community teams within Exeter. The second is supporting the teams across Mid Devon, based nominally in Exeter but working with teams in Tiverton and Crediton.
The main duties include:
Be a key member of the clinical multidisciplinary team within community mental health teams.
Oversee the safe and effective use of medicines within the teams through training, prescribing review, audit and clinical practice
Establish your own clinical role as a clinician within the team
