Qualifications

• Strong technical background in steel and reinforced concrete design with relevant UK and international codes.
• Chartered Engineer status and membership of ICE or IStructE is desirable.
• Experience in the electricity supply industry, especially HV substations, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, develop, and mentor junior engineers.
• Manage technical delivery of civil and structural engineering projects across design phases.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Prepare and price technical proposals and scopes of work.
• Conduct condition and structural assessments of existing assets.
• Coordinate design activities across multidisciplinary teams.
• Act as a design lead and support design capability delivery.
