Overview

We are seeking an Expert Business Analyst with deep knowledge of electronic trading platforms and commodity markets to support the integration of a new exchange platform. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of European gas, power, and emissions markets, shaping the future of electronic trading operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the selection, implementation, and integration of a new exchange platform to replace existing systems for third-party execution and internal market transactions
• Collaborate with trading desks to optimise the use of Trayport, TT, and other electronic trading platforms across commodities
• Work with front office users to document business processes and communicate required changes to technical teams
• Ensure seamless integration of electronically executed trades into ETRM systems (OpenLink Endur + in-house platforms)
• Capture and embed compliance requirements, including those for algorithmic execution
• Engage stakeholders across front office, operations, IT, and compliance, driving requirement elicitation and solution delivery
• Apply technical expertise in SQL, code branching, and data interrogation, working closely with development teams

Key Skills & Experience

• Deep expertise in commodity trading processes, particularly European gas, power, and emissions markets
• Proven experience with exchange integration systems (e.g. Trayport) and strong knowledge of ETRMs
• Understanding of compliance monitoring in electronic trading
• Exposure to algorithmic execution processes
• Strong business analysis capabilities, including stakeholder management and requirement elicitation
