Job description

An exciting opportunity to join Menarini as the Senior Brand Manager in the pre-launch phase of a first in class, cardiovascular therapy.

The Senior Brand Manager will play an integral role in the pre-launch planning phase and will be accountable for driving the brand's launch success. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this position requires close collaboration with both Global & UK cross-functional launch team to define and deliver the operational plan. Responsible for strategic, future focus, ensuring alignment with global objectives and local customer/patient needs to support sustained, long-term sales growth.

What You'll Work On
  • Strategic Planning & Launch Excellence: Develop strategic and operational launch plans using the launch excellence framework, ensuring alignment with Global and UK objectives while utilizing data insights to drive decision-making.
  • Omnichannel & Digital Innovation: Collaborate with the digital lead to integrate digital channels into the brand strategy, championing content creation and optimizing digital KPIs for a cohesive customer approach.
  • KTL Engagement & Advocacy: Create a Key Thought Leader (KTL) plan in partnership with Medical Affairs, cultivating advocacy through educational programmes and tiered engagement strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster deep collaboration with Sales and Global teams to ensure a shared strategy, integrating insights into the brand plan and leading regular update meetings.
  • Operational Execution: Drive the development and localization of sales enablement materials to meet NHS standards, coordinate national congresses, and ensure all activities are compliant and within budget.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent. CIM qualification desirable.
  • A track records of achievement and progression in pharma with at least 4 years’ experience in Brand Management. Experience in Cardiovascular or diabetes therapeutic area essential.
  • Strong commercial and strategic focus. Evidence of developing and implementing successful brand plans and launch plans.
  • Possesses the creativity and digital literacy required to produce simple content, leveraging a range of applications including Canva, PDF editing software, PowerPoint, and various AI content generation platforms.
  • Evidence of credibility with high level Key Opinion Leaders in Cardiovascular, Renal, Metabolic Medicine.
  • Commitment to putting patients at the heart of all decisions, ensuring access to high-quality treatments, and addressing unmet medical needs.
  • Strong culture of teamwork and collaboration across functions and countries to drive business success and patient outcomes.
  • Efficient execution and continuous improvement across functions, ensuring high standards in compliance, quality, and performance.
  • Ability to anticipate and respond to changes in the healthcare environment, market dynamics, and customer needs.
