Job summary

A leading automotive parts distributor in the UK is seeking a Senior BI Developer to craft and own scalable business intelligence solutions. The role involves designing enterprise-grade Power BI solutions, optimising SQL data models, and developing ETL processes. Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in BI, advanced SQL skills, and deep knowledge of Power BI. This full-time position is hybrid, requiring occasional travel to the head office in Wolverhampton.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or BI development.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex transformations and performance tuning.
• Deep hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX and data modelling.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or equivalent modern data platforms.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining ETL / ELT processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI solutions.
• Build and optimise SQL-based data models.
• Contribute to the development and optimisation of the Microsoft Fabric platform.
• Design and manage ETL / ELT pipelines.
• Lead BI storytelling for senior stakeholders.
