A leading media company seeks a Back-End Development Lead to join their dynamic Digital Development team in Manchester. This role involves mentoring, leading development efforts, and collaborating on robust, scalable back-end systems using Go, TypeScript, PHP, and SQL. You'll work in a remote-friendly environment with a commitment to high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate has strong technical and mentorship skills, preferably in the media or audio streaming industry.
You’ll be joining our dynamic Digital Development team within Bauer Media Audio, where we build the back-end systems that power mobile, web, and voice-connected experiences across international markets. Our team thrives on collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. We work closely with product and technology teams to ensure our platforms meet the evolving needs of our audiences.
You’ll be responsible for leading development efforts, mentoring team members, and ensuring our systems are robust, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in the United Kingdom, with remote working as standard. Participation in incident management rotas is required.
