A leading infrastructure services provider in Stevenage is seeking a High Voltage SAP to support critical electrical engineering projects. You will plan HV switching operations and ensure compliance with safety standards while mentoring junior engineers. This role will be within our Distribution and Connections division. As one of the largest Independent Connection Providers (ICP’s) in the UK, we support distribution network operations across infrastructure. Our team installs and maintains distribution networks and ensures reliable connections for customers, carrying out electrical planned work, customer connections and network reinforcement.
Are you an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) with proven competency at 11kV, 33kV, or 132kV? Join our substation construction team delivering critical infrastructure projects across the UK Power Networks (UKPN) Distribution Network in the East of England. We’re hiring High Voltage SAPs to support HV/LV electrical engineering projects, including substation builds, network upgrades, and planned outages. You’ll work on UKPN’s 11kV, 33kV, and 132kV systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations in line with Distribution Safety Rules.
