Qualifications

  • Qualified AMHP with at least two years' recent post-qualifying experience.
  • Completed at least 18 hours of AMHP training per qualification year.
  • Good working knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act & Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.
  • Experience in Adult Safeguarding.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to both weekday and out of hours shifts.
  • Ensure delivery of a high-quality and effective AMHP service.
  • Maintain sophisticated knowledge and expertise relevant to AMHP practice.
  • Formulate rotas and provide supervision to other AMHPs.
