A community support organization in Leeds seeks a Senior Alcohol and Substance Worker for their Focused Intervention Team. In this role, you will manage staff while carrying a caseload of service users, aiding them in overcoming substance use challenges. You'll also lead impactful campaigns to raise awareness of the service and its importance. Candidates must have relevant experience supporting individuals with substance use and delivering interventions for positive outcomes. Apply only if you have the right to work in the UK.
All roles are permanent but are subject to funding.
What will the role look like?
As a Senior Worker in our Focused Intervention team, you will be at the forefront of the Forward Leeds drug and alcohol service. Your role will be to line manage a number of staff within the team whilst also carrying a caseload of service users, supporting them to make changes to their drug and alcohol use.
You will be leading on the planning and delivery of exciting campaigns and events, designed to promote the service and communicate information to the general public.
What we are looking for?
We are looking for someone with experience of supporting people to make changes to their alcohol and drugs use. They will also have experience of delivering effective interventions to promote positive change.
