A dedicated support organization is seeking a Senior Accommodation Support Worker to oversee the welfare of residents and children in a supportive environment. Responsibilities include managing support quality and supervising staff. Ideal candidates will have experience in supporting trauma survivors, strong communication skills, and a compassionate nature. This full-time position promises a rewarding role in the care sector.
Position: 1 full‑time position (37.5 hours), based in the Black Country.
Salary: £27,751.50 – £31,525.
Closing date: 21st November 2025.
All interviews will be held via Microsoft Teams.
The successful candidate will provide day‑to‑day support to the Refuge Manager and/or Safe House Manager. The position will manage and have oversight over the quality of support delivered to residents and their children, supervising the intervention support workers who will each have a nominated caseload. The position will ensure that the environment is empathetic, supportive and positive, promoting independence and life after violence and abuse, while meeting all contractual targets from the contracts and commissions.
Highly skilled Senior Accommodation Support workers with excellent communication skills, compassion, and an understanding of the impact of abuse and exploitation. Innovative candidates with experience working with adults who have experienced trauma and abuse. Someone who enjoys problem solving and developing their leadership skills. Self‑driven, conscientious, hardworking, and ambitious.
