We are seeking an experienced and passionate SENDCo to join our dedicated team for two days a week. The role may be combined with our current advertised teaching role, creating a full‑time post for the right candidate.

About the role
  • Lead and oversee the provision for pupils with SEND across the school, ensuring high‑quality, inclusive teaching and support for all.
  • Work closely with staff, families, and external agencies to ensure every child's needs are met effectively and compassionately.
  • Support the continued development of our inclusive practice in line with the new Ofsted framework, which places a strong emphasis on inclusion, equity, and meeting the needs of all learners.
  • Play a key role in shaping our provision as we continue to refine our curriculum and teaching approaches.

You will be joining a collaborative and caring team, where relationships are central, restorative approaches underpin our practice, and the needs of pupils are always at the heart of our decision‑making.

About you
  • Holds (or is working towards) the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCo).
  • Has proven experience in supporting children with a range of additional needs.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of inclusive practice and a commitment to improving outcomes for all pupils.
  • Brings strong interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to lead, support and inspire colleagues.
