Job description
Pupil Administration Assistant (Part-time Thursday - Friday)

Position type: Part-time
Pay range: LGS Scale 4 Points 7-8
Position start date: 23/02/2026
Duration: Permanent

Working hours: 7 hours per day (8:30‑4:30) including a 1‑hour lunch break – 14 hours per week.
Term time only, including 2 inset days.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Have English and Maths at grade C or above (or equivalent).
  • Have strong IT computer skills, including sound knowledge of SIMS and the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, methodical and organised approach.
  • Work under pressure, meeting deadlines in a busy school environment.
  • Be proactive rather than reactive to workload.
  • Work as part of a team.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Previous experience of working in an administration role in a school is essential.

This is a public‑facing role and English fluency is required.
