About this opportunity
We have a new vacancy based in Shipley for an experienced SAP Supply Chain Lead on a two-year Fixed Term Contract (FTC).

Your mission in CMbE
The SAP Supply Chain Lead will oversee the implementation of SAP across our complex machine tool manufacturing operations. This role ensures that supply chain processes are accurately mapped, optimised, and embedded within SAP, focusing on key modules including MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), SD (Sales & Distribution), WM (Warehouse Management), and PS (Project System). Acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the SAP implementation team, you will drive digital transformation while safeguarding operational excellence and business continuity.

About you
The successful candidate will bring at least seven years of supply chain experience, including three or more years in SAP implementation. Hands‑on expertise with SAP MM, PP, SD, WM, and PS modules is essential, alongside a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, BOM structures, and planning systems. A proven track record in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transformation projects within high‑tech or precision engineering environments is required. You will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication and influencing abilities, and a proactive, decisive approach. Experience in change management, stakeholder engagement, and training facilitation will be key to success.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, or a related field, with a master’s degree or SAP certification preferred. The successful candidate will be a technically fluent professional with deep knowledge of SAP and supply chain processes, who thrives in a fast‑paced, project‑driven environment. Key to this role is being detail‑oriented, analytical, and capable of leading complex workstreams while building strong relationships across global teams.
