A leading financial technology company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Salesforce Engineer to design, develop, and support innovative Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with Salesforce platforms, including Apex and Lightning Web Components. Qualifications

  • Proven experience designing, building, and supporting Salesforce solutions across Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.

  • Comfortable working in agile teams, with experience in CI/CD practices, Git-based workflows, and DevOps tooling.

We’d love you to be part of our journey:

As the Salesforce Engineer you will design, develop, and support secure, scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform, applying engineering practices. You’ll work across both declarative and programmatic tools - including Apex and Lightning Web Components, but be happy to work on platform configuration such as permission sets, Flow and configuration (e.g. permission sets, reports and dashboards etc). You’ll collaborate with the Salesforce Platform Manager and key stakeholders to translate requirements into well-architected solutions. Champion technical excellence, platform sustainability, and continuous improvement through coding, testing, automation and documentation.

  • Design, build, and maintain Salesforce solutions using a blend of declarative and programmatic tools, including Flow, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to define technical requirements and deliver features that are secure, scalable, and aligned with business goals.
  • Apply engineering best practices including peer reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and secure coding standards.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems through APIs and middleware, ensuring reliable and secure data exchange.
  • Ensure the solutions you build are maintainable and observable, with clear documentation and knowledge sharing to support platform sustainability.
  • Participate actively in agile ceremonies, team rituals, and technical communities of practice.
  • Support the continuous improvement of platform standards, patterns, and delivery processes.
  • Mentor peers and contribute to a strong, inclusive Salesforce engineering culture.
What We’d Like To See From You
  • Proven experience designing, building, and supporting Salesforce solutions across Service Cloud and Experience Cloud).
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Flow, Apex, Visualforce and Lightning Web Components.
  • Understanding of Salesforce architecture, security, and integration patterns.
  • Comfortable working in agile teams, with experience in CI/CD practices, Git-based workflows, and DevOps tooling.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to work across business, technical, and operational domains.
  • Proactive problem solver, focused on delivering maintainable, scalable, and resilient solutions.
Preferred
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g. Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer).
  • Experience working in regulated or secure environments.
  • Familiarity with platform monitoring, logging, and performance tooling.
  • Experience of Omnistudio/Vlocity and CRMA
