Job Purpose
The Sales & Relationship Manager will support NYSE’s international market data and transactions business from our London office, reporting to a manager based in New York City. This role is ideal for candidates with sales experience and a working knowledge of financial markets, seeking to grow within a global, client‑facing environment.
The successful candidate will help expand NYSE’s international footprint by promoting proprietary market data products and growing NYSE’s engagement with the global trading community. This role requires a hunter mindset—someone proactive in identifying, prospecting, and converting new business opportunities through a consultative approach that builds meaningful client relationships and strengthens NYSE’s presence across new regions.
Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and cultivate new client relationships across international markets, with a focus on expanding NYSE’s footprint and driving commercial growth.
- Strategic Client Development: Deepen engagement with existing and prospective clients by uncovering business needs, identifying growth opportunities, and positioning NYSE’s proprietary market data solutions as strategic tools that deliver long‑term value.
- Industry Expertise & Thought Leadership: Maintain deep knowledge of proprietary market data products and client use cases, while staying current on trading workflows and broader industry trends. Leverage these insights to enrich client conversations and strengthen strategic positioning.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with cross‑functional teams—including product, strategy, and technology—to align client needs with NYSE’s offerings and support integrated, firm‑wide initiatives.
- Brand Representation & Industry Engagement: Represent NYSE at industry events, conferences, and client forums across key global markets. Strengthen brand visibility, build strategic relationships, and stay connected to evolving client needs and market trends.
Knowledge and Experience
- Client‑facing experience in sales or account management, with demonstrated success in driving new business—preferably in financial services or technology.
- Strong understanding of market data infrastructure, products, and trading workflows, along with market structure trends, to support strategic positioning of NYSE solutions.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with a consultative approach and comfort engaging meaningfully with key partners across diverse business functions.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced, global environment.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support client engagement and represent NYSE at industry events.
