What you'll be doing
  • Apply in-depth levels of clinical expertise and extensive specialised knowledge to plan, coordinate, and implement evidence‑based, trauma‑informed and developmentally appropriate assessment and treatment to children and adolescents (0 to 17 years) in acute mental health distress.
  • The Safeguards Team is a new dedicated CAMHS resource designed to provide rapid response to resolve mental health crisis across community and inpatient settings.
  • The position sits within the Safeguards CAMHS Response Team (‘Safeguards Team’) and reports to the FWLHD – Safeguards Team Clinical Leader with professional responsibility to the FWLHD – CAMHS District Manager.
