Retail Manager – Osborne

Location: Osborne House, York Avenue, East Cowes, Isle of Wight, PO32 6JY

Salary: £26,409 p.a. (the exact figure depends on skills and experience)

Hours: 36 per week (including weekends)

Job Type: Permanent (Reference 16320)

Overview

We are looking for a Retail Manager to lead the retail operation at Osborne House, responsible for a £750,000 retail income target and ensuring high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the retail business through a team of visitor assistants to deliver the annual retail income target.
  • Set and monitor retail targets and manage retail budgets and expenditure.
  • Plan and manage all retail activity on site, including permanent and pop‑up locations.
  • Take on duty management responsibilities when required, including out of hours support.
  • Support retail management in your territory, including training.

  • Familiarity with visual merchandising, inventory management and retail operations.
  • Commitment to the vision and values of English Heritage.
