Qualifications

• Experience in a respite care setting.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification or working towards.
• Understanding of safeguarding principles and health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility support.
• Offer emotional and psychological support to service users.
• Monitor and document the health and well-being of service users.

Skills

Experience in a respite care setting

Understanding of safeguarding principles

Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities

Communication skills

Basic First Aid training

Education

NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
