A dedicated care provider in Chorley is seeking a Residential Support Worker to provide care and support for children with emotional and behavioral difficulties. The role involves day-to-day interactions, managing challenging behaviors, and working in a therapeutic team. Applicants should hold a QCF Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or be willing to undertake the qualification. Job Title: Residential Support Worker
Location: Chorley
Working Hour: 2 days on, 4 days off (rolling rota, including evenings, weekends & sleep-ins)
Hourly Rate: £12.50 – £13.50 per hour
Number of Sleeps Required: Included within rota c 10 to 11 per month
Pay Per Sleep: £65
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: YPs aged 7–17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
Qualifications Required: Full induction and QCF Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (provided if not already held)
Experience in Years Required: Experience desirable but not essential
