A law firm in Bedford is looking for a paralegal interested in residential conveyancing. You will assist in managing conveyancing matters, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and building your own caseload. Ideal candidates should possess good drafting skills, the ability to manage deadlines, and capability in generating fees. This office-based role requires working five days a week with potential for career progression into becoming a qualified solicitor or licensed conveyancer.
We are seeking a paralegal with an interest in Residential Conveyancing dealing with residential conveyancing matters. This includes sales, purchases and re-mortgages of freehold and leasehold properties.
You will assist the Solicitors/Conveyancers in the team with their caseload of files and assist to make sure the requirements LEXCEL and CQS provisions or any other quality standards are met.
You will be trained to ensure you are up to date with any updates in legislation where required.
You will be trained so to become responsible for building up and developing your own caseload and the department, to include marketing and bringing new clients to the Company.
You will be assisting Fee Earners with the objective of being trained to manage your own caseload of legal work in 12 to 24 months or sooner, but subject to experience and performance. The role will be office based at our offices in Bedford. THIS JOB IS IN THE OFFICE 5 days a week.
