A leading healthcare provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a motivated Band 5 Registered Nurse for a part-time role (34.5 hours/week) focused on developing Critical Care skills. This is a fixed term/secondment vacancy for 8 months until 30/08/2026 due to maternity cover. If you are a Hywel Dda University Health Board employee and are applying for this post as a secondment, agreement for the secondment is needed from your current manager prior to application.
An enthusiastic and motivated individual who is interested in developing their Critical Care skills is required for a Band 5 Registered Nurse role. The post is part‑time (34.5 hours per week) and will include days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
Welsh language skills are desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Interviews will be held on 22/1/2026.
Successful applicants will be fully supported whilst gaining experience in the care of critically ill patients undergoing a variety of critical care interventions. Candidates should have some knowledge of Critical Care Nursing (not essential) and a willingness to develop their skills further, playing an integral part in integrating critical care across Glangwili.
Applicants should demonstrate evidence‑based practice, be proactive in managing change, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Readiness to innovate and develop nursing within a team approach is essential.
