Located at Wellsprings Hospital in Taunton, we serve communities along the Bridgwater and Somerset Coast. Here, a collaborative group of physicians, nurses, therapists, and the Home Treatment Team comes together to provide tailored, holistic care in a secure and healing space.### Your Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesAs part of our dynamic environment, you’ll handle a variety of tasks that demand flexibility, strength, and strong teamwork skills. Key aspects include:* Overseeing the care for specific patients, from initial evaluations to crafting and carrying out personalized nursing plans.* Partnering with a diverse team of professionals to ensure care is truly centered on the individual.* Safely giving out medications according to our guidelines and best practices.* Keeping an eye on patients’ physical and emotional health, noting any shifts and responding promptly.* Assisting with everyday needs and engaging in meaningful therapeutic activities.* Keeping detailed records, including risk evaluations, to meet our standards.* Serving as a primary contact for assigned patients to maintain consistent support.* Guiding and mentoring newer team members and trainees, while leading by example.* Getting involved in quality improvement efforts, regular check-ins, and your own skill-building.You’ll also focus on forming trusting bonds with patients to aid their healing journey, working alongside families, external partners, and colleagues to overcome obstacles.
