Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years in a senior leadership role within Ofsted Registered Children’s Homes.
  • Passionate and knowledgeable leader who places children at the center of decisions.
  • Willingness to work towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management.

Job Title: Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Services

Location: Saddleworth, Oldham

Salary: £48,000 to £52,000 + Ofsted Bonus

Working Hour: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with On-Call Duties

Service: Children’s Home

Service Users: YPs – EBD and LD

Qualifications Desired: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)

Qualifications Required: Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner or Level 3 Residential Childcare

Experience in Years Required: Minimum 2 years in a senior leadership role within Ofsted Registered Children’s Homes

Employment Type: Permanent

Number of Beds: Solo placement

Location: Saddleworth, Oldham

Type of YPs: EBD and LD under a dual Statement of Purpose

Ofsted Rating: New home

Ratio of staff to children: 2:1 or in line with assessed needs
