Qualifications

  • Experience in joinery and general maintenance, ideally in a safety-critical environment.
  • Knowledge of fire safety regulations.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Complete and document fire risk assessments.
  • Carry out fire door inspections and repairs.
  • Undertake joinery works including fitting doors and locks.
  • Respond to maintenance requests from care home managers.
  • Support external contractors to meet compliance standards.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in line with health and safety requirements.
