A leading manufacturer of rocket motors based in Kidderminster is seeking a Utilities Engineer. This role involves maintaining various industrial systems, such as HVAC and fire suppression systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Candidates should have a C&G NVQ Level 2 qualification and at least 3 years of relevant experience. The position does not support hybrid working, requiring on-site attendance during set hours. A BOAS certification is required or must be obtained.
Initially on days (7.30-15.30 Monday to Thursday and 7.30-14.30 Friday)
This role is not eligible for Hybrid Working.
Roxel is an Anglo-French Company that designs, develops and manufactures a range of solid propellant rocket motors for use in tactical missiles. Its operations are spread across several sites in the UK and France and it has an annual turnover of about £150M and nearly 1000 staff, with 300 in the UK.
The UK operations are entirely based at Summerfield, Kidderminster where we now have a requirement for a Utilities Engineer.
Reporting to the Boiler House Manager and responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of site systems. The role is to provide a robust mechanical bias service within an industrial building environment, while upholding company safety guidelines and complying with codes and regulations. A current BOAS certification is not essential, however the successful candidate if not certified would be required to obtain BOAS certification and participate in the call out rota.
