A leading healthcare recruitment agency in the United Kingdom is seeking a Band 5 Recovery Worker for a full-time role lasting a minimum of 12 weeks. The ideal candidate will have experience in substance misuse and recovery services, working with clients primarily dealing with opiate dependency. Responsibilities include providing PSI interventions and applying harm reduction principles, all while managing a caseload. Full compliance requirements include a Right to Work Document and a DBS Certificate.

Our client is looking for the ideal candidate for a minimum of 12 weeks, Monday to Friday on a full time basis. This role is for those accessing treatment with alcohol or substance dependency, mainly opiate dependency. Candidates will ideally have experience working within a structured drug and alcohol treatment system working with those prescribed OST, alongside other prescribed interventions. You will offer PSI interventions and be well versed in harm reduction principles to reduce drug and alcohol related harm and have experience working with a case load of about 45.
